Dafabet
Background
Dafabet is a privately owned online gambling company based in Makati, Philippines. It is the flagship brand and subsidiary of AsianBGE.
The brand name is promoted through football including via official sponsor deals with Celtic Football Club, Norwich City FC, Sunderland FC and Burnley FC.
Two years ago, we were briefed by Dafabet to target eyeballs in Asia with a major focus on Indian sport. Needless to say, the sport of cricket was identified as the correct route to market.
Results
We secured Dafabet’s first ever major sponsorship in cricket with The Caribbean Premier League in 2018. Working alongside our Indian sport partners Hampshire Sports, we have brokered deals with the The New Zealand v India Series in 2020 as well as title sponsorship of the Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka series held in Zimbabwe.
